Server Ownership

My boss apparently isn't interested in me having the two SunFire 280v machines placed in the server room if the ownership of the server belongs to me as he's afraid if that anything should happen (ie: I leave the coy) then the servers will follow with me along.

Similarly, I'm going to use the servers for my development work, if I submit the two to office as office assets, seriously, if my boss wants to use it for himself and the office work, then won't I be back to square one?

Maybe I should just move the servers back home first and decide what to do with it.
