Dinner @ Jurong Hill

Was recommended to go there by a colleague with some other colleagues for dinner, so met up with June from my FI dept, JJ (the-one-who-recommended-the-place) and one of my favourite lady from way back from the first time I stepped into this company my ex-Senior HR manager - Reb.

Went there by cab as I ended my meeting late, caused June and JJ (triple J) to wait for me.
So went there, waited and chit chatted for a while while waiting for Reb to arrive as she was caught in the AYE. We had decided to eat Japanese Teppanyaki at this renowned hill top restaurant. It looks pretty packed and crowded actually, with a powerful and expensive price list.

We could only look at the food while it's being prepared for others and our stomachs growled away, but the food was soon served and we were enjoying it to the best we could. Reb, June, JJ sat at one part of the table while I sat around the corner, stupid design caused the split, the tables could only seat 3 at one end and my side another 3 argggh.... I can't sit near Reb :( LoL.

We had fun, bitched (yeah, surprisingly, I bitch eh?) about tendering resignation(s), work, life and much others. Thereafter we adjourned to an area for complimentary dessert with a very nice view of the Singapore night scene, but blocked by a stupid window pane... :~

Took some photos, did some stupid styling for shots, it was pretty fun, it was so relaxing and crazy, you really need the right crowd sometimes for such things, it's not fun if people aren't willing to play along and go crazy. Reb being the eldest there was so much fun, followed by me then June and JJ in order of descending age.

I'm going to miss Reb.

Maybe it's just good, I already kind of expected Reb to leave, but didn't expect it so suddenly. I'm going to be more lonely now missing a nice friend. I'm going to miss all my friends. Sigh. Hope she has a better life out there in her new company, hope to catch up with her soon again. JJ's on leave today, June's on MC... sigh. I'm so lonely in office.
