Lately, there's been this blue ride parking where me and my colleagues always park. 3 of us just nice takes up the West Lobby parking lots at TradeHub directly outside our store. With this new blue ride, one of us always have to park elsewhere.
Today reached early, so I parked in my usual lot and I happened to see the blue ride's door open, out of Singaporean mentality of kaypoh-ism, I went over to inspect.
I saw the guy sleeping inside.
This car is a OPC (off-peak-car), therefore without a $20 coupon, he cannot travel nor start engine within 7am-7pm. Thereby also meaning, he has to reach before 7am. The fine for getting caught without OPC coupon is $10K each time.
Is this why he has to sleep in the car? Leave home early, reach early, sleep until 9 to start work?
I find it so weird, don't make yourself suffer if you want to own a car, if you are suffering then you shouldn't own one at all. I hope he's not one.
