I went down to TK Foto again on saturday not really to have another drink w/ the folks there, but went there to decide if I should buy the Nikkor 10.5 FE. End up, I bought it. Hahaha... spent $ again. Seems so hard to save money when I go on trips. I just want to take better images, better shots that I will seem to die to want to get the equipment I need.
Eg:
Japan 2005 -
Gitzo 1227 Tripod - S$700
Japan 2006 -
Crumpler Karachi Outpost - Sponsored Courtesy of TK Foto
Tibet 2007 -
Nikon SB-400 Speedlight - S$200
Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8 Fisheye - $1050
Seems like this Tibet trip, I've spent the most, scary isn't it. I hope my next trip doesn't warrant me to purchase any more stuff, frankly I've got most things I needed for trips. I just want to to get a Fisheye for the Tibet trip as I feel that I will regret not having the shots. I probably will visit Tibet once only? I'm not sure. So better be safe.
Took a shot of all my equipment for now. A check list to see how much I've spent (not all equipment is labeled).
1) Nikon SB-400 Speedlight
2) Nikon AF-S 1.7x TC
3) EN-EL4 Battery (x2)
4) Nikkor AF 50 f1/.8
5) Nikkor AF 10.5mm f/2.8 Fisheye
6) Carl Zeiss 85mm f/1.4
7) Nikkor AF-S 17-35mm f/2.8D
8) Nikon F80 Body
9) Epson P2000 Portable Media Storage
10) Nikkor AF-S 28-70mm f/2.8D
11) Nikon SB-800 Speedlight (x2)
12) Nikon SD-8A Battery pack
13) Nikkor AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G VR
